What’s new in the ManageCasa Software
Charges just got a lot easier
We recently streamlined our Charges system to make it easier to pay charges. You can now choose which charge to pay, or all at once. We added new ways to pay, made it easier to handle overpayments and will continue to add new payment methods in the near future. Also as part of this revision, your users can now download a copy of the invoice right from the charges page.
We improved AutoPayments: users can choose to pay what is due, or just a fixed amount, and they can select which charges to pay. We decoupled auto pay from paying the charge for better management and we now display the history of payments from the AutoPay Details section in the application.
On the Settings page users can now see a list of previous payments for each payment method and they can see the history of deposits for each deposit method.
We added the ability to print invoices directly from the Transaction Listing page. Users can now print individual invoices from the "..." button on the right of the transaction and they can bulk print all the invoices in the list into one easy PDF document.
We also standardized the way you can pay Expense transactions to use the same interface as paying charges. Now you can pay your property owners directly from the expense transaction page, or from the charges page.
Did your users update their ManageCasa Mobile App?
We have reworked our mobile app to take advantage of all mobile payment methods. We will be adding Apple Pay shortly as well. The new mobile app includes native support for Surveys and eVoting, which we introduced in late 2023. We also added a list of Transactions to the Mobile app.
U.S. Tax Forms 1099 NEC and 1099 MISC
The clock is ticking as the January 31 IRS deadline approaches for organizations in the United States. You can create the forms right from the application through Dashboard > Manage > IRS Tax Form 1099.
For 2024 we updated and simplified our 1099 pricing - $5.95 per 1099 statement.
New RealMailTM feature makes sending letters to homeowners easy
When we introduced RealMailTM late last year, Sageglen Community Association in Houston, TX was one of the first ManageCasa clients to take advantage of it. With more than 1,500 recipients, sending out paper mail to homeowners used to be a time consuming project and a chore nobody was looking forward to. With ManageCasa RealMailTM, administrators can create letters through the ManageCasa Communication Template feature and with a click of a button have them processed for printing, folding, stuffing, stamping and delivery through the U.S. Postal Service. Easy.
Brenda, the Managing Agent of the Association was excited to confirm that all letters were received in just 4 business days over the New Years holiday.
Since then, more and more customers started using RealMail.
