The Architectural Review feature is designed to help associations manage and track property modification requests from homeowners or residents. Whether it’s exterior improvements, renovations, or structural changes, this tool ensures that all submissions go through a consistent review process and comply with community guidelines.
With Architectural Review, you can create, organize, and monitor review tickets, assign them to the appropriate team members, and keep everything documented in one place—from submission to final decision.
Accessing the Page
- From the left menu, click Architectural Review
Navigating the Architectural Review Page
Once you access the page, you’ll find several tabs that help you manage and organize review requests efficiently:
- Insights Tab – provides a high-level overview of your architectural review activity. Here, you can quickly see number of tickets for each status, trends in ticket activity, and properties with the highest number of requests.
-
Architectural Reviews Tab – is the main workspace where all review tickets are created and managed. Here you can Create New Tickets for incoming requests, Search, Sort, and Filter to quickly find specific tickets, and gives you two view options:
- Kanban View – Displays tickets in columns based on their status. You can drag and drop tickets between columns to easily update their status.
- List View – Displays tickets in a structured table format with key details such as Ticket Number, Title, Property Address, Assignee, Priority, Status, Created Date, and Due Date.
- Categories Tab – allows you to manage the types of architectural review requests. It comes with default categories you can use right away but you have the option to create custom categories based on your needs and the ability to enable or disable categories depending on what you want available when creating tickets.
- Archive Tab – stores tickets that you archived. From here, you can also unarchive tickets if they need to be restored or permanently delete tickets if they are no longer needed.
- Map Tab – provides a visual representation of all properties with architectural review requests. This helps users quickly identify the location of each request. Especially useful for assigned reviewers who need geographic context when evaluating submissions.
- Architectural Forms and Articles Tab – allows you to manage supporting documents required for architectural review requests. Here, you can upload forms and guidelines that requesters must follow. These documents are visible to users submitting requests and they can download and complete these forms as part of their submission process.
