Most Property Managers and Landlords want to screen tenants before they sign a lease.
ManageCasa offers a convenient, flexible and powerful application workflow for both the applicant and the property manager/landlord. This article walks you through the process from the perspective of an applicant.
Filling out the Application Form
A rental application is a form that landlords and property managers use to request detailed information from potential renters. The information provided in a rental application helps property owners determine if you're going to be a safe and responsible tenant before they offer you a lease agreement.
When an Applicant starts a new application, they have to complete the following steps.
General Information - Basic information such as first & last name, email address, date of birth, driver’s license number and tax identification are all required to be provided here.
History and References - Rental History is information on your past rental housing, including past addresses etc. Employment history is for recording past jobs. Please note that References are important if you don't have either rental or employment history. The more you fill out the better your application will be. However, if you don't have history, you can leave it blank.
