Uploading Lease Agreements: Overview

If you have a list of all of the existing leases for your properties under management, you can import that list into ManageCasa in bulk via the bulk lease upload rather than manually adding each lease separately.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is critical you import a list of your contacts (tenants) and properties first before importing your leases.

Steps to Upload Lease Agreements in Bulk

1. From the left menu, go to More Features, then Bulk Upload.
2. From the list of data types, select Leases.
3. Download the template and fill it out.

4. Once the template is complete, drag the file into the upload box or click Browse and select your file.
5. Click Import to upload.

What Happens After Uploading

The system will validate your file and:

• If everything is correct, your data will be imported and you’ll receive a successful upload email notification.
• If there are errors, you’ll receive an email with an error file attached. Open the error file and scroll to the rightmost column to see the specific error messages for each line item.
  • NOTE: Do not edit the error file directly. Make corrections on your original file, then re-upload.
