Managing Listings in ManageCasa with RentSmart

Overview

ManageCasa works seamlessly with RentSmart, making it easy to list and manage your rental properties in one place. This guide shows you how to access listings, activate properties, and edit details to keep your rental information accurate and up to date. 

ManageCasa’s partnership with RentSmart Syndication amplifies property visibility by automatically pushing listings to leading rental platforms while keeping data accurate and centralized. With simplified workflows and expanded reach across sites like Apartments.com, Zillow Group, and Zumper, etc. property managers can attract more leads quickly and efficiently.
 Important Note: This feature is currently available only in the United States.

 

Accessing Listings

  1. Log in with your ManageCasa account.
  2. From the left menu and click Property Units.

  1. From the top banner, select List with RentSmart. You will be redirected to the RentSmart website.
    • If you accidentally close the banner, you can still access it by clicking the question mark icon in the upper‑right corner. 

  1. In your RentSmart account, click Listings.
    • All properties synced from ManageCasa will be displayed, along with their status (Active/Inactive) and other details.

 

 

Activating a Property for Listing

  1. In your RentSmart account, go to Listings.
  2. Select the property you want to activate.
  3. Click Activate Property.

  1. Enter the required details to complete activation.

 

 

Editing Property Listing Details

  1. In your RentSmart account, go to Listings.
  2. Click Edit on the property you want to update.

  1. You can edit the Rent Amount and Security Deposit.
    • Note: If the property is synced from ManageCasa, details such as address, bedroom and bathroom count, property type, and property size must be updated directly in ManageCasa.

  1. Once finished, click Save Changes.

 

RentSmart Syndication

ManageCasa’s partnership with RentSmart Syndication supercharges property visibility by seamlessly pushing listings to top rental platforms—all while keeping data accurate and centralized.

 

Syndication Sites 
With streamlined workflows and expanded reach across sites:

  • Apartments.com, ApartmentFinder, Apartamentos.com: Free for single‑unit properties; multifamily requires direct contact.
  • Apartment List: Free for single‑unit properties; multifamily requires direct contact.
  • Rent.com, ApartmentGuide.com, Rentals.com, Redfin Rentals: Free.
  • Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, AOL.com: Free for basic listings; multifamily requires a direct contract with Zillow.
  • Zumper: Up to 5 free listings per company; additional listings require direct contact.
  • Dwellsy: Free.
  • RentalBeast: Free.

Additional Notes:

  • For single‑family properties, there are no limitations except for Zumper, which allows up to 5 free listings per company.
  • For multi‑family properties with 25 units or more, the limitations listed for Zillow, Apartments.com, and Apartment List apply. Users with portfolios of this size will need to reach out directly to those sites to establish a paid contract in order to list.
