The Property Details View gives property managers a condensed summary of financial and operational metrics at the individual property level and a broad range of management actions. When you click on any property in the list, you’ll reach the details view. Here, you’ll immediately see the property’s basic information including it’s address, type, and occupancy rate, as well as your assigned role at the property.
By default, you’ll land on the Property Summary tab of the details view. On the left side, you can see a live balance summary for a current snapshot of your property’s financial health. You can also make direct online contributions to the property’s balance from here.
On the right, you’ll see any photos uploaded for the property, its description, and the property owner on file for the property, all of which are editable.
By clicking the Financials tab, you can quickly sort income, expenses, and net income totals by month, year, or a custom date range. You can also quickly generate the most common property reports like Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
In the Property Members tab, you will find a list of all users who have been associated with the property in any capacity. You can quickly open up a direct message with any user within the context of the property. You can also associate new contacts with the property from this page as well.
If you’re looking at a Multi-Unit property, you’ll also have a Units tab, which breaks the property down into each individual unit. You can quickly see which units are occupied, their type, and which contacts are associated with which unit in the system.
ManageCasa supports the following Unit Types:
-
Apartment
-
Duplex
-
Industrial
-
Office
-
Parking Space
-
Retail Shop
-
Room
-
Storage Room
In a multi-unit property, you can click into each individual unit to get a closer look at that unit’s specific information, like the current status of the lease agreement and a list of all members associated with the unit. You can even click View Lease to see the specific lease details for the unit. If there is no active lease agreement on file for the unit, you can create one from here.
Hopefully this article has given you a better sense of how to optimize your use of the properties module on ManageCasa. As you can see, the properties module is heavily integrated with almost every other feature in the application. We strongly encourage you to create all of your properties before proceeding to other modules.
