The Messages module in ManageCasa is the system’s centralized communication center, designed to unify all conversations across the platform into a single, organized workspace. Instead of messages being scattered across different records, every communication—whether it originates from a property, contact, task, maintenance request, or other module—is automatically consolidated here while still remaining linked to its source record.
Accessing Messages:
- From the left menu bar, click Messages
Messages Interface Overview
The central message list displays all conversations based on the selected filter. Each entry provides a quick overview including the subject, message preview, sender or role, date, tags, and available quick actions, allowing users to understand context at a glance without opening each message.
And on the left side, the navigation panel allows users to filter messages based on their status or relevance. This includes:
- All Messages – View all conversations
- Unread – Messages not yet opened
- Favorites – Starred or important messages
- Recent Activity – Recently updated threads
- Archive – Stored or removed from the main view
Creating a Message
To send a message:
- Click Create Message
- (Optional) Enable "Message is an announcement" to turn the message into a one-way communication.
- Once enabled, recipients cannot reply or interact, and they cannot see other recipients
- (Optional) Enable "Include unregistered users" to send messages to non-registered contacts.
- By default, only registered users are shown in the “Message To” field, but unregistered users can still receive the message via email notification if an email address is available.
- Enter Subject
- (Optional) Use the Associated To field to link the message to system records such as properties, contacts, transactions, tickets, files, and other related objects
- Select Message To recipients
- Write the message in the Your message field
- Within this field, users can also click the poll icon (lower right) to select and attach an active survey or voting option
- (Optional) Add Attachments or Tags
- Tags help organize and categorize messages for easier tracking and filtering
- Click Send Message
