The Charges feature in ManageCasa provides admins with a centralized view of all accounts payable—expense transactions that must be settled.
With clear visibility into outstanding bills and invoices, admins can efficiently track, export, and manage payments across properties and HOAs.
What Are Charges?
Charges = Accounts Payable
- Expense transactions recorded in the system that require payment by admins.
- This feature ensures accurate financial management by consolidating all pending expenses in one place.
Viewing Insights on Charges
The Insights tab offers a quick snapshot of:
- Available Credits — funds that can offset expenses.

Clicking Outstanding Charges opens a detailed list of pending charge transactions.
Customization: Insights can be tailored through Control Portals, allowing admins to adjust which financial metrics are displayed for more relevant reporting.
Navigating to the Charges Tab
To access charges:
- Go to More Features → Finances → Charges.
- Review all pending expense transactions in a single, organized view.
Charge Details Displayed
Each charge entry includes:
- Due Date — When the payment is expected.
- Account — The general ledger category (e.g., Auto and Travel, Landscaping, Other Expenses).
- Property / Business — The property or HOA associated with the charge.

Pay To — Indicates payment availability.
- If ePayments are enabled, admins can pay directly from the Charges page.
- If not, charges are displayed but must be settled manually through the Transactions tab.
- Total Amount — The full value of the expense.
- Outstanding Balance — The remaining unpaid portion.
- Download Icon — Export or download invoices for record-keeping.

Exporting and Record-Keeping
- Use the Download icon to save invoices individually.
- Export all charges into Excel for reporting and reconciliation.
- This ensures admins maintain transparent financial records across properties.
