ManageCasa does not generate IRS 1099 forms directly. Instead, the system creates a Microsoft Excel report containing all required payment data. You or your trusted tax professional can then use this file to prepare and file official IRS 1099 forms.
Generating this 1099 report in your ManageCasa account is made fast and simple by automatically generating a list of all parties that have incurred over $600 of 1099 compensation (both property owners and vendors).
Prerequisite: All Expense transactions are properly maintained in ManageCasa.
Create your 1099 report
The 1099 report is an MS Excel spreadsheet that contains all required data that you can share with your tax accountant/advisor.
You can run and download your 1099 report as follows:
- Click “More Features” in the left‑hand menu.
- Select “IRS Tax Form 1099 (US Only)” in Finances Section
- Click “Regenerate List”
- ManageCasa will automatically identify all parties with qualifying payments.

Download the report:
- Click the Download All button next to the Regenerate List button, or
- Click the three dots beside the entry and select Download.
- The file will be saved in your default downloads folder.
- Share the Excel file with your tax accountant or advisor to prepare and file the official IRS 1099 forms.
